Arenal Volcano, Poas volcano and Volcán Irazu

Two of the most popular volcanoes in Costa Rica are active: Poás Volcano and Arenal Volcano, which is located in the province of Alajuela

Located in Cartago, Irazú Volcano is Costa Rica’s highest volcano, rising 3,432 meters (11,260 feet) above sea level.
