This volcano is located in the province of Alajuela, San Carlos, Fortuna district, Arenal. It is about two hours and 30 minutes from Juan Santamaría Airport in Alajuela. On this volcano, we cannot observe the crater because it is cone-shaped and located at an altitude of 5,436 feet. In this area, we will go on tours to see waterfalls, the most biger lake in Costa Rica hanging bridges, canopy tours, ATV rides, and the most popular activity, enjoying the hot springs that come from the slopes of the volcano. These can be enjoyed at different hotels or resorts that offer them.
