POÁS VOLCANO

It is located in the province of Alajuela, approximately one hour from Juan Santamaría Airport. The volcano has a national park where you can observe the beautiful crater, amazing flora, and enjoy a tour for nature lovers in a special humid forest ideal for a hike of approximately one hour. The entrance fee is $17, separate from the tour price. To enter, only a reservation with the ticket purchase online is required, Maria Tours take care of that

VOLCANO ARENAL

This volcano is located in the province of Alajuela, San Carlos, Fortuna district, Arenal. It is about two hours and 30 minutes from Juan Santamaría Airport in Alajuela. On this volcano, we cannot observe the crater because it is cone-shaped and located at an altitude of 5,436 feet. In this area, we will go on tours to see waterfalls, hanging bridges, canopy tours, ATV rides, and the most popular activity, enjoying the hot springs that come from the slopes of the volcano. These can be enjoyed at different hotels or resorts that offer them.
